Here is the thing. You asked a question about a "clunk" and failed to provide YEAR and MILES, which IS important to know what your problem(s) might be.

Did you get under and inspect/check front diff bushings and propeller?
Thanks for the tip! I replaced the brake pads... They needed it

So I replaced the diff bushing with another one. I'm not sure if I did something wrong the first time round or if it was cheap ebay junk. I could only get another ebay one and the problem has gone. The first one only lasted 6 weeks before it failed. If this one fails I'm going to have to upgrade it.

What are you using low for in sand? You are supposed to be in 4Hi with StabiliTrack/TC Turned off, tires aired down to 11-15 PSI.

So I ordered the Anchor 3120 & Anchor 3121 Engine Mounts from amazon. They are a little different looking than OEM but they do fit. Hopefully the quality is good. The left side one was missing a thread on top for a wire bracket so I added a M6 nutsert. It took me about 4 hours to change them. I had to remove the knock sensor on the left side to get it out and removed all the bolts from underneath the car. The right hand side was easier to get out. Most of the bolts come undone through the top of the engine bay.

My engine mounts definately needed replacing:

Nutsert added to top

Looks differerent but does fit. Welding seems less than OEM

Left side under exhaust was worst

It was completely cracked

I have taken it for a test drive and the engine still swings under load. I will replace the gearbox mount as it came in a kit.

I will take it off road again and see if the knocking sound has gone. wish me luck

So i'm still getting a clunk sound when using 4 low in soft sand. I've also replaced the front propellor shaft cv with a dorman unit too.

I guess its front CV joints next....
