Weird sound not sure if that’s the steering wheel bump?
2007 hummer h3 138k miles
I just replaced my steering wheel pump because the old one was trashy, I made sure I bled it from air . When the car is on running and in park and I then the steering wheel no sound . When I press on gas so like while driving and turning the wheel I hear weird sound really sound like the steering wheel pump whine and like make ticks sound but it’s new so could it be something else ???
I checked for leaks no leaks I went on few drives and checked the level everything is good
so where the hell that sound coming from ?
here is a link of video of sound that may help
thank you

What brand is the new power steering pump you put in? If it is Cardone, you could have gotten a bad pump out of the box (their quality control does not appear to be very stellar).
Also, how many bleeding cycles did you go through at the time of the video? I just replaced the PS Pump on my Alpha about two weeks ago and immediately on the first start up it made a similar sound to your video. After several iterations of bleeding the air out of the system, the pump eventually quieted down.
I had to start the vehicle, let it idle for about 5 minutes, turn the wheels left—>right several times (preferably with the front wheels off the ground) shut the car off, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then repeat. I did this process about 4x times, with the power steering cap off the reservoir, and by the last iteration, the vehicle quieted down a tremendous amount. I then put the cap back on the reservoir, took the vehicle on an hour drive, and by the end, all indications/sounds were normal.
What is the fluid level/condition in the video? If there are small/foamy bubbles in the fluid, then it’s likely that there is still air in the system and it simply just needs purged.

Additionally, see the Sticky Note on the H3 Forum’s main page entitled “Power Steering Pump Reservoir Replacement”; a forum member had (what sounds like) a very similar experience to what you are having (replaced the pump, now there is noise), and it sounds like it simply took multiple iterations of bleeding for his pump to quiet down as well. It also has a very detailed write up on how to flush, and bleed the system as well.

I got EDELMANN 6175U from RockAuto it seem to have great reviews, my first pump was Cardone and it was trash, I went thro one bled cycle with the front wheels lefted I did circle right to left like 30 times
So you think I have to bleed it more ? Like I did before lift the car and turn it left to right or is there something special I need to do?
the fluid is new I flushed it all out the first time and I flushed it again when I did this pump, when the sound happen I don’t see any bubbling or anything just normal surface , you may be right but like damn how many times I have to purge lol
