Default Weather stripping next fix….

So on too the next fix. I have purchased new GM weather stripping that runs the length of the front and back doors. The stripping goes on top of both doors. And I have also purchased new GM weather stripping that goes around the body where the door seals. My question about installing this is should I use a weather stripping adhesive or install it dry? Thoughts please?

Install them dry. They have a metal pinching built in to the rubber which enables them to fasten to the body very tight. If you use adhesive, good luck cleaning that crap off if you ever need to remove the weather stripping.

What are the part numbers you purchased, are they still available from GM?
