Default VVT Sprocket Compatibility between 2006 3.5L and 2007 3.7L

Does anyone know if these two Camshaft Sprockets are interchangeable?

The first two pictures (Standard Motor Products VVT609) are for a 2007 3.7L

The second two pictures (Standard Motor Products VVT608) are for a 2006 3.5L

The only difference I can tell between the two of them is the 609 looks enclosed while the 208 is not, however their timing marks (as far as the exhaust camshaft sensor is concerned) looks identical.

I do not think there is any mechanical difference between the two of these either (i.e the same amount of oil pressure applied to each actuator moves them both the same number of degrees), because both engines use the same part number for the VVT actuator solenoid.

If anyone has any info on this, as to whether these are interchangeable between 2006 3.5L and 2007 3.7L engines, please let me know!

Thanks!
