And tire hop = broken parts. I guess he just doesn't get it and wants instant answers instead or research and reading. Someone wants a dragster. It's a HUMMER, purpose built for comfortable daily driving and moderate+ Offroad use. Once you exceed those parameters set by the manufacturer you will be breaking parts and replacing them with stronger stuff. I know it all to well.

Yes, adding 15 hp to a grossly underpowered vehicle gets you a dragster. I'm just hoping to wake it up a bit. I'm not going to do something stupid like crank the wheel and punch it. Adding a few hp is not going to break parts unless you abuse the vehicle. Yes, wheel hop is murder on drivelines...this is true on all vehicles.

I was looking for some advice....my asking the question is called 'research and reading,' btw. You've been almost no help since I originally asked about tuners. You refused to help back then, noting there were parameters I wouldn't understand until I bought a Hummer. Now that I have one, you still don't appear to know anything worth sharing. I've yet to hear anything about these special parameters only a Hummer has.

BTW, Banks doesn't make a tuner for Hummers, so I'm not sure where that's coming from.
