I have a 2008 Hummer H3 , with a 115000 mileage.
I don't recalled if i ever changed the subject fluids.

When I asked a mechanical shop here they are refusing to change it, since it will damage the system if you change the old one. and a new sounds will appears as per the mechanical. even for the steering fluid
for me I don't get it they just don't want to take responsibility if something happened.

so I'm seeking your support and experience in this matter.
I want to change it if it will not harm the gears

Find a different Mechanic, they are so full of chit that I would stay as far away from them as possible. I have no intention of opening your attachment.

First thing you should do is change all the fluids if you do not know when they were last serviced. READ the owners manual, they are all on line free.

 

Maintenance is the KEY, to prevent premature failure!

 

Indeed, change the fluids w/o hesitation. If you know how to turn a wrench you can change them yourself.
