Default Thanks Doc

Doc, After 11 years and 172,000 miles, I finally got around to replacing those "Crappy Azz" Battery Terminals on my 2010 Alpha/Offroad. 😀 Thanks for all you do on this Forum. You are a great asset to the H3 Community. I've had your Product on all 3 that I've owned and have taken your advice many times. I plan to keep this one one the road for a long time.

My 2010 still has the OEM terminals and I don't see any issue with them (so far). Didn't GM modifiy the design from the early models?

Indeed, thanks to Doc for the forum and help, along with so many others that contribute.

Search the effect of corrosion/resistance/voltage drop/contact failure. Start by looking here:

Thanks back at ya.

GM did not make a modification of the problem, they simply added a flange sticking out to the side with a stud and nut so people could more easily add a winch etc. The connection mechanism (which absolutely sucks!) remained exactly the same.
