After sucking up outrageous tax breaks and utility subsidies paid for off the backs of working Americans, they ship all the profits made back to Japan. If you do an analysis it amounts to something like we paid $400K per $45K job created and built the infrastructure for their facilities financed by Japanese banks all to help them steal market share away from other American companies. Bad deal in my book. They do not make those concessions to our corporations to let us get in over there. Why people buy that chit is beyond me?

Buy American, and when you can't do that, at least keep it in North America.

I will say Japan itself is a cool country and the people are great. My daughter lived in rural Japan about 7 train hours west of Tokyo for years while teaching 4th & 8th graders English. That ain't hardly a reason to help them build their cars over here.

you think that American worker on the toyota assembly line cares about both of your concerns of our chit government? or is he happy to have a local job bringing food to his /hers tables?
what he / she wants is a stable income to support himself /herself and his / hers family in America.
you can post all the political BS you want to sound like you guys are getting somewhere.....
but the end result is the end result. local paycheck to make ends meet now.
