2006 H3 with 139k miles. Just tried 5w-30 synthetic after I've been using conventional oil(same weight). In the morning it's smoking on start up then clears up after a few seconds. I'm presuming the synthetic is getting by the valve stem seals overnight. I'm going back to conventional oil but 10w-40. I live in south florida. What do you think? Thanks.
