Default Swapping US headlamp/light switch to EU version.

Good day.
2007 H3x 150k miles.
Truck was imported in EU from US new.
Headlights were brutally converted to EU version, by drilling hole in them and adding DRL bulb in them.
Over the years headlight assembly was abused, cracked, repaired, got dirty inside and I will replace them with proper EU versions(24300003, 24300004).
That is easy part, take out old, put in new.

I would love to replace Light Switch also from US version to EU version, minor differences (left:EU, right: US)

But I am in doubt BCM will recognize those functions.
Any ideas? Worth a try to get and worry about it later?
Height adjustment functionality would be cool.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Headlight height adjustment on the dash would be cool. But would the US model have the wiring for it to communicate with the EU headlight setup and the BCM?

On this side of the pond, headlight height adjustment is available via the combo/multi-function switch. Easy access, laid back in the drivers seat, no need to reach the dashboard.

I know this is a two year old post but I was wondering did you ever get the European switch to work?

Hello Mammoth, I just put EU headlights, I did not changed light switch. I had to unplug auto leveling drivers in headlamps as they would go bonkers, maybe related to not having EU bcm/light switch. Adjusted lights manually, works great!
