Earlier today, pushed button for sunroof, motor sounded, sunroof started to open , about an 2 inches travel loud pop noise and sunroof stopped. Had to manually put the sunroof back in place. Any suggestions?
No leaks, just wont move when I press the button and the motor is sounding

 

Sounds like either the belt snapped or the "cog" on the sunroof motor broke or is stripped.
Complete R&R required to replace the belt. Belts are in the tracks shown below.
