Also ordered 5 Dura Tracs 305x70x16 should be in by end of week. FYI, I went to the local Good Year dealer and his best price was $1665 the GM dealer wanted $1875 got them at America's Tire for $1552 plus I'll get back $90.00 in rebates.
I spent an entire day searching for the tires of course nobody has them in stock.
Will post photo when all done and thanks to all for the help!
Why so much??( $1550) did you check out www.tirerack.com last week when I checked for the same size tires (305/70/16) it was $1,070 thats including shipping and taxes. They also give you the option of either having it shipped to your house or tire shop. You made a good choice of tire (duratracs) are great I have them on my rig but you over paid by ALOT!

Are you guys talking about a set of 4 or 5 tires.
Everyone does realize that the spare needs to be the same size, right.

That includes all taxes mounting etc.
Tires alone are 205 each with rebates.

Includes everything except mounting & balanced... Tire shops usually charge between $20 - $25 per tire. For all 5 that's around $120 - $125. So you would of being looking at $1205 for everything (shipping, taxes, balance, & mounting)

Here is the break down;

5 tires = $1170.00
Replacement Certificates (I've used this before and it comes in handy with our crappy CA highways = $176.25
Environmental fee = $8.75
Disposal fee = $12.50
Mount balance plus lifetime balancing, rotations and flat repairs = $80.00
CA sales tax = $103.55

Got to love living in CA with all these environmentalist!
