I bought an after market stereo for my hummer h3. I tested the stereo before installing it and it worked fine. After installation I could not get the stereo to turn on. I am getting 12 volts on the ground and memory wires but when I turn on the hummer I am getting nothing on the ignition wire. I seem to have a solid connection and do not think it is a problem with the wire itself. I do not know why I am not receiving power. Help would be greatly appreciated

I wired the accessory wire to another wire in the car instead of to the harness and that solved the problem of me not getting any power.
