I put a new stereo in my 2007 SUT and when I hit a bump my sound turns off then back on talk to a stereo shop they say it the amplifier do you agree with that

Bronxteck is right on, Yup, for sure, a good stereo shop retrofitting your factory stereo to aftermarket should have used adapter cables to interface to your new stereo. The factory onboard Bose unit for the most part is bullet proof unless it someone puts in some really questionable wiring.

If you have access to a Tech 2 you can test the amp if you feel it may be acting up but I seriously doubt it.
