No need to do that.

The system operates only if it senses that any of the wheels are spinning or beginning to lose traction. The traction control system automatically comes on whenever you start your vehicle. To limit wheel spin, especially in slippery road conditions, you should always leave the system on. If you press and hold the TC button for five seconds, the traction control system will turn off and a TRAC OFF message will appear on the DIC. StabiliTrak activates when the computer senses a discrepancy between your intended path and the direction the vehicle is actually traveling.StabiliTrak selectively applies braking pressure at any one of the vehicle’s brakes to assist the driver with keeping the vehicle on the intended path. If you press and hold the TC button for five seconds, the StabiliTrak system and the traction control system will turn off. When this is done, the STAB SYS OFF message will be displayed on the DIC.

StabiliTrack is what makes the H3 near idiot proof when driving and it does nothing until you NEED it.

TC is turned off with a press of the button. StabiliTrack is turned off by holding the button for a few seconds.

The only time you want to turn that off is when in deep sand, tires deflated to appx 11-15 PSI so you can use unfettered momentum to climb dunes and allow some tire spin.
