Default Sound horn upon locking

I am trying to have the horn sound when locking the h3 from the key fob.

You can choose from 4 options. Currently I am set to 1 meaning there is no horn sound. Trying to set to option 2 to sound horn upon locking from key fob. I set it to option 2 yet it works as option 1. Horn does work from steering wheel. I removed the block fuse and replaced with another and still does not work.

Upon setting to option 2, I removed key and begin using key fob. I have tried several other steps after setting to option 2 but still not working.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Remote Keyless Entry Feedback
This feature allows you to program your remote keyless
entry feedback to a preferred setting.
To set your choice for this feature, perform the
following steps:
1. With the engine off, turn the key to LOCK. Do not
remove the key from the ignition.
2. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the
remote keyless entry transmitter at the same time.
Hold both buttons until the DIC display shows
the current remote keyless entry feedback mode.
3. To view the next available mode, press and hold
the reset stem for approximately two seconds.
Release the reset stem and press and hold again to
view each mode.

4. Once the desired mode is shown on the DIC
display, briefly press the reset stem to set your
choice. The DIC display will then clear.

The following are the available modes:

RFA 1 (default): This mode flashes the parking lamps
when you press the lock or unlock buttons on the
remote keyless entry transmitter.
RFA 2: This mode flashes the parking lamps and
sounds the horn when you press the lock button on the
remote keyless entry transmitter. This mode also
flashes the parking lamps when you press the unlock
button on the remote keyless entry transmitter.
RFA 3: This mode flashes the parking lamps and
sounds the horn when you press the lock or unlock
buttons on the remote keyless entry transmitter.
RFA 4: This mode disables remote keyless entry
feedback. There will be no feedback when you press
the lock or unlock buttons on the remote keyless
entry transmitter.

Bingo....your step 4 was the key. I tried a couple of different variations and got it to work. Thanks.

You can always check feedback mode on DIC display:

2. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the
remote keyless entry transmitter at the same time.

Hold both buttons until the DIC display shows
the current remote keyless entry feedback mode.

I think adding a louder horn could be a fun upgrade if you're into customizing your ride. It's like adding your own personal touch to your Hummer. Plus, it could be practical too, like making sure people hear you in a crowded parking lot.

I totally get where you're coming from with wanting your Hummer to sound extra cool when you lock it. It's all about that vibe, right? I did some digging and found this site, https://bosshorn.com/, where they have some seriously loud horns that might just do the trick. Imagine hitting that lock button and BAM! Everyone knows you've arrived.
