I have few questions
does the oil pump just goes into the timing cover or does it have to be sealed to the timing cover ?
the old one was just bolted on I didn’t really see any sealant in it so doesn’t it just bolt on?
My other question is that brown sealing on the timing cover . It looks in good shape . Do I have to replace it or do I just keep it and just seal the part before installing ?
what is the correct way to seal
it and install it to prevent leaks ?
