Default Engine cover

My 03 didn't come with the vortex cover for the engine, I was curious how much difference was in the 6.2 intakes asI like the 2008-2009 year cover better

Thanks

I think I have one of each, I'll look today and see if I can tell the differences

underside of 08 cover

top of 08 intake with mounts

underside of 04 caddy cover

both 08 and 04 covers

I don't have a 03 H2 cover to compare, I do have a 01 6.0L in a 99 silverado and the engine cover mounts are also different than these

the caddy rear mounts are the same as the H2 but the front mount is a bolt

the 08 cover uses two rubber snaps to mount to the studs with the ***** on the top of them, the 01 intake does not have provisions for the ball mounts like on the 08

I'm not sure that the new 6.2 covers will fit the older 6.0 intakes but they might. There are multiple cover options though. I bought a Vortec MAX cover for mine along with the two side cover pieces. The driver side piece does require a bit of a cut in it to fit under the hood latch though.
