I just replaced mine 2 weeks ago. Bought the bulbs on eBay real cheap. Probably takes about 30 minutes tops. Pulling the dash plate off is real easy. Getting the control housing apart is the biggest pain but there's a YouTube video out there where a girl uses guitar picks to separate the housing, it's real helpful. You can also use thin washers as I did. I recommend replacing them all while you're in there.
Glad you chimed in Tainter. My soldering is getting harder and harder to do neatly these days and thanks for the amazon and youtube links. Pretty sure I can handle it now.

Do you know if the same bulbs fit the window switches and the front and rear differential lock displays?
Should be the exact same bulb.
Don't forget to remove the little blue condom off of each bulb and reuse it on the new ones.
If you don't the brightness will be different.
