Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Cool info thanks for the update. I'm sharing a thought on another option to mounting is to use neodymium magnets with screw-on fittings, then you could put on the roof or tailgate. To keep from scratching the paint put an adhesive film on the magnet side, or you can buy some that are rubber coated. I've used these to mount LED daylight running lights on my classic car, so I can remove them when I get to the car shows. They hold great and at the worst sometimes just slide a little bit, but so far never let go.
Roof mount is not a good option for me since I park under a large tree. Both our rides get sh"t on the rooftops from the tree letting loose, and the birds nests leaking, leaving a layer of residue. Having the solar panel mounted vertical, most debris falls off. Magnet mount on the rear door is another option, with a short length wire exposed, while making sure the wire doesn't get caught in the latch, when opening/closing the rear door.
When I purchased this house 2yrs ago there were 2 trees hanging over the driveway where we park, I trimmed the current tree 30ft back up 20ft, and the other tree(40ft pine) I completely removed along with the stump 2ft underground, cut up and burned in my fire pit.
NEW UPDATE OVER A YEAR LATER. Still parked in the driveway now driving under 200miles a year with most everywhere I buy from has FREE delivery.
The solar panel still works perfect keeping the battery charged also has increased resting voltage since I installed the factory installed battery from my wifes 2020 GMC TERRAIN:2020 GMC battery fits H3
