As the thread starter, I shall begin, feel free to follow with whatever you found and even what you might be looking for.

I scored a new GM OEM 15886012H3 Half shaft/CV Axle. The introduction of the H3 Alpha line in 08 changed the half shaft length (longer in 08-10) and shaft girth (thicker 08-10), this is the 2008+ redesigned version.
They go for $237.79 plus shipping from RockAuto which is a darn good price, they used to be like $270 couple years ago. The shipping costs a bit, these things are heavy.

Snagged mine off ebay for $165 shipped to my door.



For a bit of comparison, the old version of this Halfshaft is on top is from 2007 (you do not want rebuilt versions of the old ones, seen them explode with my one eyes on wheeling adventures), the lower one is the new version 2008+.
