Anybody know who makes the halfshafts for the Hummer. I have torn a few up since I purchased my truck in 2009. I feel like its a waste to trash the old shafts. I would like to just buy the internals and rebuild them myself. That way I can cut down on waste and be able to have trail spares. thanks

 

Don't know who makes them but Tustin Hummer and hummerpartsguy.com used to sell rebuild kits.

 

Fnally after searching for about 2 years i found all the info I need on the internals for the CV joints. ROCKFORD CV makes replacement internal parts. Ironically, they cross reference to fit such vehicles as

1995-1998 Ford Explorer

1992-1996 Lexus ES300

1997-1998 Mercury Mountaineer

1993-1998 Mercury Villager

1993-1998 Nissan Quest

1995-1996 Toyota Avalon

1992-1996 Toyota Camry

So, if you ever need to rebuild one, dont order a shaft, you can get everything you need from them. I found all the information at Hummer Parts Cross Reference

 

I just purchased a 1995 h1 na wagon, I want a list of parts I should buy and put into warehouse, that I may need, in the next ten years, it has 53000 miles like new wagon, some of 1995 parts I'm told will be hard to get buy next year?
