Default Service stabilatrak, abs, traction fault

Got an 08 h3 , 3.7 l

that I bought back in the summer 17, with 120k miles. Since August of 2018 I’ve poured (no bs) a little over 25,000$ into , in parts and labor.

As of the last year it’s been mainly drivetrain issues.
had a jasper built trans put in back in February of 2019, the rear end was rebuilt in August of 18, been through two driveshafts for the front, the flex plate was replaced in summer of 2019, and then recently, the torque converter clutch solenoid took a dump on me.
I make an 800 mile commute one way every 21 days for work, when the TCC solenoid went bad, the abs light , and stabilatrak light came on, and the HUD told me ; service abs, stabilatrak system, traction fault.

once I took it to my mechanic they originally thought maybe it was a brake light sensor since GM vehicles have a history or those going out and causing similar problems.

besides the lights and messages , driving wise it was getting on and off of the converter and surging anywhere from 200 to 700 rpms at various speeds, cruising.

Of course for me, my TCC solenoid is on a harness along with all of the shift solenoids so the harness was replaced, lights went away.

Weeks later, a trans coolant line came loose, wound up 4 qt’s low on fluid, easy fix.

within the last week, I’ve replaced a hub assembly , and a cam kit for an upper control arm due to the bolt that holds the UCA. To the frame or whatever ( I’m not mechanically inclined) was stripped..

since having that nut , cam and bolt replaced, the lights and messages have all decided to make guest appearances.

I do have a cheap obd reader, and the only thing it shows in regards to the lights just says “manufacture control “ and a code I haven’t googled yet. Clear it, and within hours they reappear. Not having the same problems drive wise as before when that solenoid went bad.

nust more or so curious if anyone can list all of the reasons why the lights and messages would appear on these h3’s (I’m aware these many different possibilities )

Connect a scanner with ABS capability, and post the codes.

I can list one good reason. Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? If so, there is your reason.

Never heard of a "brake light sensor" issue with any H3. Never come across it with any GM.

The other reason is you have been going to a lousy mechanic.

Default Also, to add to what I originally posted.

I did notice after making my original post, at one of my gas stops on my way of my 800 mile commute today.
after topping off with gas, fired it up and the lights had gone off, messages had disappeared...until I pressed the brakes to put it in gear...

To be honest I hope it shorts something and burns it to the ground sometimes. But until then I guess I’ll keep trying to fix the raggedy POS

#shouldofboughtanotherZ71instead .

Hey Hayden, sorry to hear you've been having all those issues with your H3. Do you remember the check engine code your TCC solenoid threw?

He/she goes to the Dealership for repairs. That's where the $25K comes from...

im not looking to go that route,
jusr wondering if any of y’all could give me an idea of how much anyone was charged to get their drains unstopped at a dealership.
my local dealership will do it for me when I get back from being offshore For probably little to nothing , but I’m at work for a month, 800 miles away from home so if I can get it done sooner than later so be it. Just don’t have the time nor do I trust my own capacity to try any of the DIY’s . ..
Thanks in advanced,
