Hey guys, I found some awesome black leather seats in a junk yard and I am going to replace them with my worn out Cashmere seats. However, the motors are shots on the salvage ones. but the cushion and leather are still very much intact. So, what I am going to do is cannibalize the leather and cushion with the ones I already have in the truck with the working rails and motor. I currently have the bottom cushion off, but can't figure out how to get the backrest off the bottom. If anyone can help in this it would be very helpful.

 

Basically the same as nearly every other bucket seat..... remove the trims, take it apart.

 

Dude, to remove the leather and install in on new seat it's a lot of labour. I would instead remove the working motors from old seat and install it in nice looking ones.. much easier
