Default RKE Antenna vs BCM (TPMS + Key Fob)

Hi all!

I would be SOOO thankful if anyone could shed some light on next steps for me. I've been diving deeply into these forums for weeks.

So I'm having the "Service TPMS" + key fob issue where none will begin the programming sequence.

TPMS all replaced. Will enter programming mode w/ two chirps of horn, but then neither deflating the tire for 10 seconds and/or using the tool (yes, I purchased it) results in a horn chirp afterward.

The sunroof has been fixed but definitely did leak previously. The RKE antenna on BCM was disconnected, cleaned and ensured had good connection to no avail. Would my next step be replacing the BCM?

Does anyone have any suggestions for BCM replacement? It seems some people have had nightmare scenarios and it is totally "dealer" dependent (do Hummer's even have a certified dealer through GM anymore?). The part for the RKE antenna is GM 24300221 but they don't sell it anymore and I'm unable to find it.

Thank you!!!!

You need to program your new TPMS to the truck, and the fobs as well. The stuff about letting air out at each tire in the manual, first is incorrect in its explanation, and second, a waste of time. If a reputable tire shop replaced the TPMS they should have programmed them at that time. Discount tire did mine.

Any GM dealer can work on a H3, the question is why not go to a reputable local repair facility that can work on them instead. Its like any other GM truck, there are no super secret working on H3s society.

If you cannot get the BCM to respond to the programming using the appropriate scanner, then you consider a replacement BCM.

Thank you!! I've read many of your responses in many threads about this issue so it almost feels like I'm meeting a celebrity. I'll take it back to them to program!

Ah! Another celebrity poster! haha

I'm not too sure but I'll have to ask them when I head back. The frequency just has to be 350hz right?

315 MHz or 433 MHz are the two most utilize frequencies in todays TPMS world…
