Default Replacement Leaf Springs

I was out on the trail for the first time in my new-to-me CE last weekend and ended up breaking the driver side leaf spring at the front eye. We managed to MacGyver it back into driveable condition to get off the trail before sunset (that's a whole other story!) and then trailered it home the next day.

So, now I'm wonder what the go to brand is for replacement of the discontinued OE springs? Rock Auto shows Husky and Dayton PN# 22-1485 options for my truck. Does anyone have any experience with either brand, good or bad. Both brands seem to have identical specs, except the Husky uses a bolt and tube rebound clip vs. bent steel on the Dayton. Not sure which is better.

TIA for the input!

no bueno.

This is super common problem on the H3s we have had it happen on 5 of our trucks so far. The husky ones we tried and they are not the correct ride height and are junk. They are about 1.5" lower than stock.

We recently bought OEM and they were still in stock:

25965051

We ordered online through Tasca: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...Y4LWdhcw%3D%3D

They are not showing as discontinued from what I can see. If they are backordered for some strange reason order the Old man EMU packs they are a great replacement.

What is a "CE"?
(Sorry - can't help with the spring question.)

Thanks for the feedback on the Husky springs. I decided on the Old Man Emu's as a nice upgrade - thanks for the pointer. Buy once, cry once.

Introduced and sold early 2008. Btw, I only enlightened another HF member "CE" meaning. You need to spend more time researching before you bash!
