Default Leaf Spring Bushings Replacement

I have a 2008 H3 Alpha, 204,000km

I've been having some louder bangs/ thuds over bumps. Tightened everything, replaced the "V" shape door latch (door and body side), put a cloth now over that to dullen the door effect, etc. Had shocks looked at (theyre half a year old Bilsteins) and links, all good. I was poking around myself and noticed the bushings of the leaf springs are pretty chewed up looking.

I went on RockAuto, ordered new Frontward and Rearward Leaf Spring BUSHINGS (only...Dayton brand), 2 new Doorman shackles (have the bushing in it), as well a few extra rebound clips, and 4 new U-Bolts (I heard those should be changed too if you un-tension them). Going to bring everything to my local mechanic to swap out. I've seen a few videos of people online doing it.

I just wanted to check in and see if anyone else had done this successfully, or if anything got buggered up I should tell my mechanic to look out for (the frame connections look like they have a good amount of surface rust...I just don't want anything to crack off or do permanent damage). I figure the new bushings will help a lot...the Springs themselves look to still be in good shape...hardened steel I guess lasts well.

Appreciate any advice!
