Default Replace Original Stereo with GM Hummer H3 Nav

Im new to Hummers, just got an used H3 that I want to custom. This one comes with the original regular stereo with XM. XM Radio is working perfectly.
If I want to replace this stereo with GM Hummer H3 with Nav that come with other H3's, is the wiring 1:1 and the Nav comes thru the XM receiver or should I add a GPS antenna as well?

Thank you in advance,

first you need to get an unlocked nav unit or have a tech 2 to marry the nav stereo to your truck vin number plus you will need a gps antenna that fits the unit.

If you have a base radio (not the Monsoon) you will need a whole lot more to run the Nav head-unit.

Do you have a sub-woofer in the driver side rear panel? Then you have the Monsoon.
If not, just go buy an aftermarket head-unit with Navigation or one that can mirror your phone. I would do that over the factory NAV unit anyway.

Do you have any aftermarket models you would recommend or stay away from? Your recommendation of getting a unit with Navigation and Apply Play makes sense. After 6 months of searching i just found and bought a '09 H3T Alpha and looking to find all the TAINTER advice threads to properly upgrade my new mistress. Thank you in advance.
