yes and it didn’t work, someone told me to try to get vapor canister so I ordered another one and once it arrive I am gonna install it and see if it will fix the problem... but what else might cause this?

That could be a possibility if the canister is fuel fouled. You need to check the evap system again to make sure there are no obstructions.

New canister coming on the way , I will
recheck the vent line also, anything else you recommend to check?

also one thing I forgot to mention is that I don’t have check engine light or codes but I hope the new canister will fix the problem, I will Let you know regardless once I get it and install it

I can recommend 1 main thing, "NEVER TOP OFF" !!When the pump shuts off, STOP fueling or you can cause damage to the evap system and end up with issues. The vent valve(mounted on the canister) is the most common problem that I have found when this happens. Don't take my advice I only have 37yrs in auto repair.

thank you for the advice, I never top off but looks like the previous owner did. I bought the hummer recently and noticed this issue
