Temperature and direction (N, S, E, W) display has stopped working (just blank - nothing showing) in rearview mirror. Onstar controls working OK. Anyone else had this probem or know of some "reset" feature for a quick fix? Vehicle is still under warranty so dealer should be able to fix things, but thought I'd check here first for any suggestions.

 

Go to a cul-de-sac or parking lot and drive in a tight circle a couple of revolutions. Drive in opposite direction (circle left, circle right).

That should calibrate the compass.

Check and make sure you didn't power it off. It should be the far left button.

 

Try disconnecting the wiring harness out of the back of the mirror for a minute, and then reconnect. good luck
