Hey, that random harness plug under the driver's side dash on your H3 is most likely a factory diagnostic connector, a splice pack (like SP series for the data bus), or an unused pigtail for optional equipment (common on GM platforms like the Colorado-based H3). Many owners find these taped up or dangling near the kick panel, OBD port area, or steering column. If it's not causing any issues and nothing is unplugged on the dash/instrument cluster, it's usually safe to leave it secured with zip ties or tape. Post a clear photo of the connector (color, number of pins, any numbers on it) and your H3's year for a more exact ID — it could also be related to the airbag system or body control module harness.

Thanks Robzob, I have found since I posted this that theres a trailer brake blunt cut wire set near the gas peddle side drivers side, a few wires on the ebrake side for roof lighting if equipped and a random plug on the firewall/brake peddle area thats for some other extra stuff (cant remember). But good to know lol.
