You can throw parts at it, or test voltage output at the alternator. Btw, my '07 alternator is still original & still 15v+ inside the cabin on startup.

Replaced the battery terminals with the stingers and no luck. As for voltage drop i don’t understand as now I don’t see a drop. Pretty much the same at alternator and cabin.

Seems to be an alternator issue. I replaced it and problem is gone. At least for now will see if it shows up in a few days. Weird how the alternator was passing tests and still bad.

Corrosion/contact failure at the alternator. Bench test the old alternator to verify it's still good.

Yes with that video all he is showing is that the alternator is producing voltage to charge the battery but what we are not seeing is how clean the voltage is coming out of the alternator. This is what I think was the issue I was having. I don’t have a oscilloscope to see. If the pulsing stays off for a week then I will have to say the alternator was the issue. Also I did check the connections and made sure they were clean. I also didn’t see in my records when this alternator was replaced prior. It had markings of DR44 on it. The rebuilt one I got from Napa was a DR44G
