Was running good, not sure exactly why this happened but am assuming a weak valve spring. Valve spring broke twisted down, cap popped off with keepers and dropped the valve right into the cylinder on the highway and that was the end of her. This was the reman cylinder head from express. Sooo... I dunno 😕 lol picked up a complete low km engine from a colorado sitting at the wrecker yard. Almost had enough of this thats foresure.

i feel your pain, i just recently had my struggles with the machine shop and the mechanic shop i soo called trusted. IM having to have to take out the transmission again for rear main seal installed wrong. what's the cost of a rebuild on your end if you include parts?

Well after everything the first round top engine all new timing and head I think I was in for around 3k before my head decided to shut the project down. If I was to rebuild everything including the block I would guess 5k. My new plan is to swap the engine with a lower 80k km complete wrecker engine for $3000.00 swap over all my new stuff of course so 3800.00 invested in parts. This is the last chance it gets lord vein 🤣. I am happy I am not the only one with h3 struggles either lol

I know this has been asked before but I do need to know rather quickly lol. I found a 2007 Canyon 4x4 with a 3.7L. Will this work in place of my 3.5L with my factory ECM, I have read about the fuel rail swap and manifold. But is this a can of worms to dabble in, cause I can not find a 3.5 with the vin not being in bad head territory nor do I ever want to do another head again lmao....

Hummerz it does come complete manifold all sensors, and everything except pcm. The 2007 truck is 4wd so oil pan should be good. What do I do about my original ECM, program it or is it good to go?
