Default Power window switch illumination on H3

Is it true that after 2007, the passenger and rear switches do not light up by the factory?

That's the case w/my 2009.

On my 2008, both the driver and passenger side lights up; not 100% sure about the rears.

Wouldn't the factory manual tell you... generally, when the factory is describing a feature...the factory will mention "illuminated"...or something similar.

OH wait, now I notice, the passenger side DOES work, but not the rears.

I found this thread:

Same rear switches on ALL H3's. Btw, when is there a need for illumination on rear door switches?

Lemme guess ... when it's dark? The same reason any switches would need to be illuminated

Those switches are disabled with a press on the master switch.

No! The passenger side and drivers and two rear light up on a 2007 Hummer h3.
the bulbs are non obtainium though.
You'll need to solder in a bulb to work, because GM in there infinite idiocy (MHO) chose different bulb types which are now discontinued haha.
