Interpretation for challenged readers: It can go away by itself after you drive it at least 3 times (ignition cycle definition needed), but if the problem is still there after 5 drives, you have to fix it yourself.

So do not freak out immediately, the problem may sometime clear itself.

Question keyless entry

I have 06 H3 When I tap the keyless entry I get nothing. If I hit the horn button the horn goes of till I tap it again .Any ideas on this? The door locks work when I put it in gear.

try the reset. pull fuse 8 for a while. it sounds like this.

the bcm beeps, locks, unlocks. uses same connector for all. if horn beep and doors lock, not much left/missing. could be the fob buttons?, not likely.

driver door module discussed endlessly here recently. read on.

Default Power Window Switch

Hello people,

1000x thanks for your great community. You gave me back my life.
My Hummer H3 did nothing befor: no door, no window. Now I have found the problem: the Power Window Switch. Only a plug was offline. I never would have thought of it without you.

greetings from Germany

or,

1, pull fuse 8.

have coffee. replace f8.

f8 is the only source of electricity to the module.

today i will pull f8 and check volts on the fuse holder. one side will be batt volts. the other will show a decaying voltage from the module capacitors.
i will short that terminal to discharge the caps. thats the looong way. you can just have coffee and let them discharge on their own.
edit

next day; i pulled the fuse and quickly checked the volts. 12 on one side and the other was zero right now so it discharges fast meaning just pulling f 8 for a few seconds should do it all. no messing.
