Power Locks and Driver Side Window not working
Well I will finally find out what has caused my drivers window, drivers heated Seat and all the power locks to stop working tomorrow. off to a very reliable automotive electrician. I will post the solution hopefullt so people can try it before spending tons at the dealer.
hey everyone, just thought i would update everyone on my window and door lock issue. Took it to the electrician and he said the BCM needed to reprogrammed. Was told to take it to the dealer, Dealer says that a BCM can only be programmed once.
Still can't lock my doors or row the windows down, the dealer is now going to bend me over and have its way with me as if I was a blow up doll in the wind. 90 dollars per hour and thats now the going rate to diagnose their electricial ****.
I will let you guys know the end result but it is not very promising

I had a mechanic look and he tested the current in the power lock and when it was hooked into the BCM, it read 10 volts. When not, the power current read 12. My clutch sensor went out and when they replaced it, the door started working again so who knows what's up with this problem.
It's a mystery inside an enigma.

Hi All I posted before as I had the same issues. I tried the battery thing and it did not work. I lent the truck to my daughter one night and she slammed the drivers door hard (by accident). The next morning the problem was gone. I give up on trying to figure this out but its been working now about a month.
If anyone reads over this thread, the solution that is common in every fix, "poor connection"..
Invest in a can of electrical contact cleaner!
Spray both female & male connectors on both connectors to the switch (give it time to dry)
Spray both female & male ends to the #8 & #68 fuse/relay (give it time to dry)
Clean the female & male ends of the battery terminals.
Put everything back together, start the vehicle, then try your locks & windows.
On a side note, I replaced my ignition switch, over a month ago, due to intermittent security lockout (wait 10mins to restart).
Quick and easy repair, and never had a problem starting since. The most important thing I did was cleaned the connector to the switch! Oh, and like all connections I take apart, I grease them before putting them back together.

Just bring it over here, I'll get it working for you, NO CHARGE!

Seriously though you appear to be a good distance from me, so that may not work for you, however if you ever feeling like taking a road trip to cleveland, let me know..
I refuse to pay anyone to work on any of my vehicles, and it appears that you have knowledge, you just need to have patience, and you will get to the bottom of it.
The reason my door locks/drivers window stopped working was because I installed a new optima battery & stinger terminals. The vehicle started right up, but then I noticed my fob would not lock the doors, the drivers door switch would not lock the doors, and the drivers window did not operate.
The battery that I took out was only a year and a half old, however I wanted an optima battery and new terminals..
I cleaned the connectors and contacts, after all that, I came up with a reprogram/relearn procedure that finally worked! Still working today with no problem.
You mentioned your battery became fully charged? I'm not getting that part, does your battery lose charge just sitting overnight?
Your battery's resting charge should be 12.6v or higher!
Try taking your switch assembly out, take it inside your home overnight and check your battery voltage, if low, trickle charge your battery overnight.
With the switch out, close the doors and hit key fob lock... that's all you have to do tonight..
Tomorrow, take your switch back to the rig, hit key fob unlock, open drivers door, plug in both connectors and start the vehicle first, then check your switch.
