Default Please identify part
2006 H3 manual. Seems to be oozing oil from this sensor looking thing attached to the transmission. Can anyone tell me what this is?

I got no idea, but they do have a park/neutral switch........... could that be it?

I swapped-out my neutral safety switch on my '08, and that ain't it. Unless the pre-'07s are different, then I got nuthin'.

Seal leak/Crush gasket;retorque/replace and move on.

If the sensor still is working you can just replace the seal/crush. RTV on the unit works for a road side "oh ****" moment.
