2007 H3 3.7l
Have not had a parking break since I got it. I am unable to press the pedal down at all. It’s completely froze up somehow and cannot be engaged no matter how hard I push on the pedal. Anyone had this issue? I’ve never messed with a parking break before so I want opinions before I start trying things.

 

check the parking cables and the pivot at the rear breaks they might be rusted or seized.

 

I have had at least one H3 continuously for 14 years, never used the parking break yet.
