Default P0717 code

Hello ,I really want to thank everyone for helping me getting this thing running again. I have a 2007 hummer h3 and I recently got p0717, shifting acting up. I looked up the code it’s the transmission input speed sensor, I found the right part at a local store. I made a research and some people said might be shorten or dirty because of the elements etc. I am trying to find it and I can’t see to find it. Online they say it’s in the passenger side next to the transmission put can’t find anything!! Can you help me find it or send me pics so I can check out?

thank you

If all the above is OK with everything plugged in, backprobe the Brown/White and check for square wave signal with the engine running.
If no signal is present, then replace the input speed sensor.
To replace the input speed sensor requires removal of the transmission and then removal of the front pump from the transmission assembly. GL

Doubtful, but anything is possible, however you need to drop the pan to check(I have in the past found pinched wiring between the pan and housing causing an issue). In the meantime test the signal to the pins as I posted above.

Here's a pic of the harness inside:

Hummerz PLZ help. yesterday I the car stopped shifting gears it run very sluggish, not shifting, and also have more codes. I replaced the solenoids A and B and torque convertor and also the down shift 3-2 and it still does it. I checked the wires and I haven't seen. anything
I have all those codes
P0976
P0717
P0787
P0973
P2769
P2764

I also made another thread about that is my transmission dying?

It still points to the ISS, you NEED to check with multi meter, without the p0717 there is a TSB:
