yes everything is normal and drives normal but when it hot and after I drive and stop at idle then it start happening . I don’t have oil pressure gauge to check it at idle. How can I do that? Or where can I get it to see what’s reading at idle ?

FYI - I'm working on solving the opposite issue, sensor harness was torn off, and I'm getting no reading that sensor is missing.

hmmm I have no idea it have a screen I looked up some videos and didn’t see a screen. Was I suppose to have a screen in there ?

STOP throwing parts at it and check oil pressure at idle to verify!

I ordered one thank you I will update once I get it and test it but see what’s weird is why it only happen at idle when it’s like very hot outside like today for example was a cool day and it didn’t do it …. But when it’s hot it does it… I don’t understand it’s so confusing

May be my bad. I checked the manual for the 3.7 l, didn't see a screen so I may be confusing that with the V8 engine I recently worked on. In any case I'll be changing my sensor next week and let you know if I see a screen in there. Fingers crossed on success in your trouble shooting.

Also needs to be 6 sided. 12 will not work. Might be best to get an actual oil pressure switch socket, but I'm sure you could get it with a regular deep socket.

Default Update

So the weather been cool lately and it have not been doing it . Also found out that my hummer does not have oil pressure filter and doesn’t take one. I already got the oil pressure kit I am waiting for a hot day that it does it so I can plug it in and read the pressure . So I will update soon
