The oil light (word) and the oil can blink on the dash with loud dinging noise in cab
#21
I just picked up a very nice 2006 H3 and on the second day I started getting the oil light. After seeing all the post I removed the wire conector and found oil inside of the connector. I used some Oil Eater (by the way it is good to clean up any oil mess) Then sprayed WD40 in the plug followed up with compressed air to clean the plug. It now works fine. I did pickup a new oil pressure switch at O"Reilly Auto STD PS310 at $40.49 with a life time warranty and a 27MM socket to keep in the H3 just incase. Good luck guys.

You need to change the OPS, flush the engine, and refill with a quality, FULL synthetic oil.
Then monitor the color, and change the oil again:
