Got a 2006 H3 (3.5) and thinking about installing an "oil Catch Pan" Has anyone installed one that can give me directions on how to install and what brand would be the best to install. Thanks.

You mean Oil Catch Can? Which will separate cash from your wallet and do little or nothing as a solution looking for a problem.? One of those?

IMHO = a toy for those that just have to tinker.

Thanks Doc. I just saw a video on it and was just wondering about it and if others had done it or should be done. Thanks for your input. I won't waste my money if it is not needed/recommended.

My "oil catch pan" still works perfect after many drain & refills.

Oil Catch cans are not necessary a the traditional port injection engines.
Direct injection is a different story. Since the fuel is introduced directly into the combustion chamber the fuel does not "wash over" the intake valve which will "clean" the valve.

It has been done on I5s, just not something I would ever bother with.

It is your truck, if you just got to play with it, feel free to enjoy and do whatever makes you happy.

How does an oil catch can (or pan!) help with keeping the intake valve clean?
