Default No interior lights when doors open

I've had my H3T for a few years now and the interior lights have never come on when opening the doors. I've messed with **** settings of course and all fuses are good. The center lights by the rearview mirror do work if you click them on.

Is there a common issue with these I could check out? I haven't messed with the door switch yet and I know I need to check it out.

Have you checked the bulbs?????? They burn out upon repeated use, as in like 8-10 years of use. That would be a common problem.

If a door switch does not work, they usually trigger the "doors" DIC message.

Have you cleaned the contacts?

The lights work manually, so it's not the bulbs. If none of the doors activate the lights, then door switches are unlikely. Check the button below/left of the headlight switch; that disables the interior light door switches (circled below):

If the lights have never come on since you've owned it, although maybe unlikely, it could still be the door switches. I had to replace 2 doors plus the rear door when I bought mine. Not too far of a stretch that all could be failed. Easy to troubleshoot as well - only one screw to remove the switch, then unplug and jumper.

Your suggestion is a good one, but what I read says the center lights by the rearview mirror works when you click on them. In my 09, the dome lights have 3 bulbs, one for each push button switch and a center bulb that is controlled by door opening (no switch). He also said he messed with the **** settings which may be he already tried your suggestion.

When my 09 was new to me, opening a door did not turn on either the front or middle dome lights because.................. the bulbs were toast.

Thank you all! I will try each of these things, even if I'm repeating some things. Thisnisn't very complicated, so its most likely one of these. I'll post the results.

I've cleaned all terminals, and am using stock Sylvania 578LL bulbs.I'm not using LEDs, except for head lights and fog lights. which work. The defeat button is not pushed in. No interior lights work when rotating the dimmer wheel al the way up. The dash and center dash with radio will dim with the wheel.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated
