Default Code #3 injector short circuit Hummer running very bad

Hi all new member here looking for help! Hummer started running bad and smelled like raw gas, gave a code of #3 fuel injector short circuit. Bought all new injectors and changed them out. What a job. Hummer still runs the same with same code, so I tire it back down and checked the ohms on the injectors and all were the same next checked the voltage for the harness and each connector was about 12 so now I'm at a loss as to what's wrong. Could it possibly be the ECM?

Thank you all

the injectors are ground side switched by the PCM
since you checked the positive side of the injector plug then make sure the injector harness is not shorted to ground.
if the ground side of the injector has continuity to ground with the engine off that might indicate a grounded harness.
if you then unplug the PCM and the short to ground goes away then that might indicate a bad PCM.

You have two strikes....................

1) LOOK BEFORE you post. This section clearly states "Need help with Hummer Forums? Have a suggestion to better HF? Tell us here!" The key, help with the forums, not your vehicle. Like the top sticky post:

"Do NOT post vehicle questions in this section" This section of the forums is NOT for vehicle questions. It is where you can ask questions about HOW TO USE FORUM FEATURES ONLY!

2) What vehicle would you be talking about? With any question...... Year, Model, Miles would be good info to have.

So if you would share What vehicle you are talking about I could move this to the vehicle specific section where all tech questions belong.

Thank you. Moved to the H3 Section.

Now if you would post the actual code(s) instead of your summary rendition, we might be able to help.
