Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I own a H3 3.7 2008(limo), around 65k miles... i have some problem with the car, maybe somebody can share information on experiencies they had.
I have installed new catalyst, new o2 sensors front and rear, new spark plugs and the last one i changed was the knock sensor.
After changing the knock sensor (bank1) the car is running much better - rough idle went away together with p0325 error code. The only red errors shows at the moment are the p0717(speed sensor and p0700 transmission control system)
The question is regarding the boost of the car and the performance.
Loss power and boost when reading with elm372 the boost parameter is -9.00 to -11.00 means the car has no boost?
Intake temp 28-32c
Catalyst 400c idle- 700c while driving
Engine temperature euns between 89-96c
Any idea what could affect the power loss and no boost? Some mechanics say that thrrotle needs to re-calibrate
/relearn? Is there any procedure to do it without any software? (If not which software will do that?)
Boost? You got a turbo? NOS?
I don't understand your post?
Btw, Code P0717 is triggered when the transmission's Input Speed Sensor isn't providing a signal.
I think he meant vacuum. At idle the throttle plate is partially open causing negative pressure.
At full throttle that value should be zero or close to it as the throttle plate is fully open

I mean for vacuum, the car is operating same as the cars without "boost", when kicking the pedal the car will increase slowly. At idle the throttle parameter is 17% when kicking down the pedal it goes to up to 50% is that ok??
Throttlle will be a small percentage at idle which will correspond to the throttle blade being partially open. If it was zero indicating a closed throttle blade the truck will stumble and die. 100% is WOT
You need to concentrate on the transmission codes and "boost" your rig in the air!
P0717 is triggered when the transmission's Input Speed Sensor isn't providing a signal. P0700 is set when the PCM detects a malfunction in the transmission control system.
In order to know when to do things like shift gears and initiate torque convertor lockup, the ECU must be able to monitor the transmission input shaft speed (in RPMs). To do this, it relies on an electromagnetic sensor called a input/turbine speed sensor.
A P0717 trouble code is pretty serious, and the vehicle will likely exhibit major drivability issues.
Symtoms:
Check engine light
Hard or erratic gear changes
Transmission refuses to shift
Lower MPG
Speedometer/odometer refuses to work or fluctuates
Engine stalls when coming to a stop
Limp Mode
At the plug to the transmission, check for 12 volts on pin E Pink wire.
Ground on the pin V Light Blue.
Verify pin K Brown/White wire is not open or shorted back to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Blue connector pin 23.
If all the above is OK with everything plugged in, backprobe the Brown/White and check for square wave signal with the engine running.
If no signal is present, then replace the input speed sensor.
To replace the input speed sensor requires removal of the transmission and then removal of the front pump from the transmission assembly.
When was the last time you cleaned your Throttle Body and MAF using the correct TB Cleaner and MAF Cleaner????
There is no throttle re-calibration. It is automatic, bolt one on, start the motor and do NOT touch the accelerator until the PCM, TBPS and Accelerator Pedal Position sensors shake hands and the idle returns to normal.
