Hello, new to site. have been looking around and it seems as though there are some very knowledgeable people on here. I have some questions.

I am looking to change the tires on my 07 H3. it is a 5 cyclinder and it iS AN EVERYDAY DRIVER. looking for some tread that is better on the highway. need to be m&S due to living in Jersey. friends with other SUV's recommend BFG. currently have wranglers and they suck. not looking to go bigger stock size is fine.
Also, have been looking for a blacked out grille and black OEM rims. Anyone know where to buy. love the blacked out look. took all chrome except the grille off my H3 when i bought it.

 

Some really good M&S tires are the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs. Just do a search for "DuraTracs" in the forum search tool and you'll find out what the people on this forum think of them.

 

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my rig and have no complaints other than they dont do well in deep mud... but for an A/T they are great... The Black rims OEM style are custom powder coated and can't be bought that way. I would go to www.RidgeDemon.com and send them an email, he might be able to get them for you, and will definitely have a black grille for you.

 

He actually has a black Line-X coated grille for sale right now on this forum. $170 shipped.

dagkana, you put the 315's on did you have to do anything else as far as modifications.

 

bayisleboys... what do you mean? as far as suspension? I have the bilstein cognitos up front and trail duty bump stops too...

 

I have an H3T and i am running 33" Baja Claws. They are radials and mud & Snow rated. I run them all year long in Buffalo. They havent failed me yet. I'm going on about 20,000 miles with them and they have about 75% tread left. Pretty much all highway miles too! I have no complaints about them, They are quiet and provide a smooth ride and have an aggressive look too! I would buy another set!

 

you didnt have to do a lift kit at all, the 315's can right on the stock set up.
Did you have to change suspension? or you did just cause wanted to.

 

I changed my stock shocks out cause when you level the front end you put more strain on the stock ones cause they are fully extended at that point... I also have a winch bumper up front so I was getting some bad nose dive under braking... so I got rid of them for better longer shocks. All I did was turn the torsion bars to level the front end that's it, no stupid keys or anything...
