Need help with temperature gauge

Default Need help with temperature gauge
I replaced everything such as radiator,thermostat,water pump but yet it stays at 3/4 and sometimes when I drive on the freeway it goes down to normal temperatures 1/2

3/4 on the temp gauge is NORMAL. Th dash gauge is not an accurate instrument, it is meant to by like an idiot light with a needle.
To check the actual temp, put and OBD II scan reader on it and see what it says.
