Default Nasty bugs

In route to play in the Rockies, I ran into some off-roaders in the hotel parking lot that were fussing and cussing while trying to get bugs off their rigs. The bugs are horrible this year! One had an ice bucket, soap and rag. Another had WINDEX and paper towels. All were amazed when I sprayed from a small bottle and easily wiped the bugs from Homer . I had mistakenly assumed that everyone knows about MEGUAIRS FINAL INSPECTION. Now feel motivated to share with the forum. The stuff works unbelievably well on tree sap, hard water spots, grime and especially bugs. I buy it by the gallon and keep a spray bottle handy along with a couple of microfiber towels. Hope this helps someone!

Hand sanitizer works well on almost everything stuck to your paint.
I suggest to wax/seal the portion you hit with the sanitizer.

FINAL INSPECTION doesn’t strip your wax but rather enhances it!

Bugs are bad! Two stories here. I had a Grand Cherokee deep in cottage country Ontario, Canada. Needed to run back home for daughters school orientation, a 5 1/2 hour drive. Left the cottage at 4:30 in the morning. On the way to the highway I hit several large bugs that left massive splats on the windshield. Pulled into the first open gas station about an hour later and tried to scrub of the bugs with the squeegee and managed to clear enough to see. An hour away from home I started smelling diesel fuel. Twenty minutes from home and I passed a transport leaking fuel and it sprayed all over the front of the Jeep. Didn't want to use the washers because, well, diesel plus bugs equals a big mess. As soon as I could, I pulled into a gas station with a touchless car wash. The diesel fuel must have done something to soften the bugs because they all came off! Yesterday I went to the beach with the H3 and when I arrived, there were tons of little bugs plastered to the windshield and the rest of the front of the H3. At night, on the way home, I hit some torrential downpour, twenty minutes of it! Right to my driveway. Went to clean the front of the H3 this morning and it was bug free! So Diesel plus a quick wash works or twenty minutes of full coverage pressure washing!

Rain X has been good on both the boat and the H3. Gives both a decent weather and bug shield.
