Default My 08’ H3 is using oil

My H3 is using 1/2 qt of oil per month. Just started in June or July. It’s not leaking and I don’t see blue smoke from tail Pope. Help.

How many miles in a month?
I would be using thicker (and more expensive) oil depending on the miles on the H3. Cheap Oil is cheap for a reason.

I was going to post something similar, except mine has been eating oil for a long while. It must be going thru the exhaust but I don't know why.
I need roughly 1/2 qt every 1k miles - if I run in the city, I can go longer, but running on the interstate it was seems to accelerate it.

Default H3 using oil

One important thing to add to my earlier post about my H3 using oil. My H3 only has 14,000 miles on it.

Get yourself some new oil, and make sure you see this on the label:

An important this about posting here. When you start a Thread, do not start another one talking about the first Thread, all goes in ONE THREAD! Another important thing NEVER POST IN THE FAQ Section.

Like my sticky Thread says in the FAQ Section .... DO NOT post in this section
"Please DO NOT POST IN THIS SECTION just because you thought up some question!!!!!! This includes all you newbs. Use the search feature and look up your question(s) first, you will most assuredly find your answer.
When you have been on this board long enough to "know" what a FAQ is ...( like more than 400 posts) you might then have an idea of whether a post in here is justified. I am tired of cleaning this up over and over.

Thank you for your anticipated cooperation."
