5 yrs,60000 miles, zero trouble.
i never open sitting still,no dust, only open when rolling down the road.
2-3 times a yr i rub down rubber and metal surface with silicon grease, keeps clean and rubber soft, almost no leaking even in a downpour.
a glass of water runs right thru, no mods,no cutting.

 

Yep I blew mine off of my Wifes, one day I see 1 inch water on floor after dash warnings showed up lol, and screwed up electrical for quite some time but dried out and sprayed contact cleaner on all and no issues for a week now, fingers crossed I can send 175 dollar shift module back

 

I was lucky, tested mine with a cup of water, found the leak before the rain.

 

you need to lift the carpet as much as u can to dry, or mold,,,
